Proud to be African Clothing has another excellent week of education, careers, literature, movies, seminars and workshops, please arrange your diary’s and get out there and support the films, performers and others out there.
On Tuesday EDF Energy will be holding a Careers event, on Saturday Imperial College will be holding a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics event both are free.
Also on Saturday is the African Literary evening with established and up and coming authors reading and discussing the publishing in the UK for black authors.
A packed and fascinating week awaits, so enjoy and keep warm with a Proud to be African hoody or sweatshirt!

Monday 3rd November

From 9.00am to 4.30pm the Winihin Jemide Series presents Creating Big Business for Gender: Moving from Micro to Macro at Mayer Brown International LLP, 201 Bishopsgate, EC2M 3AF. Film Africa 2014

This 10 day Festival is London’s biggest celebration of African Cinema, returning for its 4th year in venues across the city.

Tony will be leading a team of volunteer debate trainers to Rwanda to run a 2 week debate camp for 300 students from East Africa, with the proceeds of this night off impromptu and prepared debating going to that cause.
