House presents Public Perception and
Policy: Famine and Food Securitisation in the Horn of Africa at the Royal Institute of International Affairs,

guardian) with Professor Suzanne Franks (City University) and Rob Bailey
(Chatham House) as discussant, this event will look at the impact of reporting
on famine and food securitisation in the Horn of Africa examining, themes in
Professor Franks book ‘Reporting
Disasters: Famine, Aid, Politics and Media’ on how the international aid
